2013.
The first year of “Simply Fresh Vintage.”
The second year in our new home.
The third year of living in Virginia.
It was a great year for our family.
Our first born got to travel to Europe for three weeks with “Jesus Culture.”
Our second born and her hubby bought a new house and adopted an adorable little boy.
Our third graduated from high school and started college.
Our fourth celebrated her “sweet 16.”
Our fifth finally got a cell phone!
It was an awesome first year for “Simply Fresh Vintage.”
Definitely a year of firsts, trying to find my niche.
A year of stumbling, tripping, falling flat on my face.
But it didn’t take long to realize that YOU, my fellow bloggers and readers, are extremely friendly and full of grace.
I’ve met so many wonderful new friends on this journey … both near and far.
On the days that I felt like throwing in the towel, there was always an angel at the ready to help me find my wings again.
So let’s take a quick trip down memory lane and re-visit your favorite posts in our 2013 Year in Review.

It all started in February with “A Very Good Place to Start” … the story of how we ended up in our new house.

And then we featured our series of posts on our new house, which we now lovingly call “Sunnyside Manor.”

Stepping back in time to when my husband and his brother were little boys sharing a bedroom brought back sweet memories. The vintage dresser makeover project was a fun and easy way to preserve this bit of history.

So what’s ahead in 2014?
Projects, tutorials, recipes, and some major, MAJOR construction! I can’t wait to share!
If growing a blog is anything like raising a child, I’m praying really hard that 2014 does NOT bring the “Terrible Two’s!”
Thank you for joining me on this incredible journey. Here’s to celebrating a great year and looking forward to the best yet to come!
