One of my favorite places to decorate is the kitchen table. I’m used to having both an everyday dining area and a formal dining table, but this house doesn’t have the formal dining room, so we only have the one table. Since it’s in use all the time, I thought I’d keep the decorations simple. This year I designed and made an adorable Spring Tulips table topper for the center.
The corners are made up of easy to piece tulip blocks.
The center is made of four matching tulip blocks, each half of the size of the corner blocks.
It’s beautiful just by itself, but also adds a little extra color when adorned with bowls, baskets, or cute trinkets.
I have an extra special treat for you!
The FREE pattern for this table topper is available in my new Craftsy pattern shop!
It’s published under my quilt company, Simply Quilty. You don’t need to be a “quilter” to make this. If you have any sewing skills at all, you’ll be able to follow along.
Simply Quilty has patterns available for free and for purchase on Craftsy, and fabric and finished items in my Etsy store.
I’m so excited to share this with you. There will definitely be more coming in the days ahead.

Hi Ashley,
Thank you! Quilting really isn’t hard, and it doesn’t have to be time-consuming either. Even with 15 minutes a day you could have a beautiful quilt in no time!

Lani,
Your quilt is fantastic! My Aunt is a quilter and I’ve always been envious of people who can sew a beautiful quilt. Let’s hope some day I give it a try – It’s on my bucket list.
Thank you so much Michele 🙂 You’ll definitely need to try making a quilt one of these days. They are really fun and everyone in the family loves them.

Gorgeous, Lani! Love the soft colors you chose. Don’t you think that part is the most fun? picking through all the beautiful fabrics to find just the ones? This is really beautiful. 🙂
Yes, Christy! Picking the fabrics is definitely the funnest part, and it always takes me the longest 🙂
