It’s officially Springtime!
Sunday morning we woke to rain, and by the time we got to church it was snowing.
Monday afternoon we spent a couple of hours watching our high school lacrosse team play their first game of the season. It was 78 degrees.
Yesterday morning when I woke up I had that “second day of vacation” feeling … you know the one … eyes that won’t open and a body that’s screaming NOT to get out of bed because it’s exhausted. An afternoon sitting in the sun after seven long winter months will do that to you.
Only in Virginia, apparently, do you go from wearing snow suits to tank tops and flip-flops in less than 24 hours!
There are other signs that Spring has arrived
… the birds are carrying on lengthy conversations … they have a lot to catch up on!
… the iris bulbs, given by a dear friend, that I transplanted last fall are poking through
… the fruit trees are flowering
… I packed away all of my turtlenecks to hibernate over the next 6 months
In celebration of getting ready to do some Spring decorating, I’ve gathered a collection of Spring printables to share with you.
Pour a glass of sweet tea and steal away a few minutes to enjoy this week’s “Ten ‘n Ten: Spring Printables.”
