It’s officially CHRISTmas time … the most wonderful time of the year!
What is YOUR favorite thing to do during the holiday season?
One of my most FAVORITE things to do is drive around town, especially in the evening, and look at how homes are decorated. I just LOVE, LOVE, LOVE holiday lights! So many times I’ve wondered if the INside looks as incredible as the OUTside. I’ve also enjoyed attending holiday home tours where I actually get to go in the house and “oooohhhh and aaaaahhhhh” over all the holiday decorations.
A little over a month ago I was invited to be a part of a Christmas Home Tour.
I was so excited, I almost ………………. well, never mind.
Let’s just say I was really, really, REALLY thrilled and honored!
After all, isn’t that every little girl’s dream? Not just to be the looker, wondering if she could ever have a house that pretty, but to be the one making her house that pretty? EEEEEKKKKKK! Pinch me!
So I hope you’ll come along and join us.
Seriously? It’s the best kind of home tour ever!
It doesn’t matter if it’s raining, freezing, snowing … who cares!
Coats and mittens and earmuffs … don’t need them.
Cost? Nope, not a penny.
But you might want to grab a cup of hot cocoa slathered with whipped cream and just sit back and enjoy.
Let’s be honest … who doesn’t want to have hot cocoa twelve days in a row?
You can get the tour schedule by clicking on the picture below or on the right. Both will take you to my Holiday Home Tour page, which is also listed in the menu above.
On the first day …
To get the party started, here’s a little sneak peek of today’s holiday home tours …
First Home Love Life
What do nutcrackers, peppermints, chalkboards, cranberries, and glitter have in common?
Pop on over to Christine’s blog and check out her home tour!
She also has a beautiful FREE Christmas printable for you!
DIO Home Improvements
This home tour brings back so many memories of how my mom decorated our home for Christmas. Take a walk down memory lane as Dria celebrates her father with a very special, one-of-a-kind tree. She also has a couple of tutorials for ornaments and DIY snowballs.
I know you’ll love visiting Christine’s and Dria’s homes. Please be sure to sign their guest book before you leave! (aka … “leave a comment.”)
Now you know what my favorite thing to do is … what’s yours?
What a delight Lani! Really looking forward to your tour!
cheers
Thanks Therese!

I can’t wait to see your home on tour today!
If you are free, today is Vintage Lynchburg Holiday Sale downtown on Jefferson Street. I have a booth there and would love to meet you if you have time to stop by.
Hi Paula,
I just heard about the VLHS on Thursday. I really wanted to go, but with sickies at home and trying to get my tour post done, there was just no way. How was it? I really enjoyed the last Spring show. We’ll hook up one of these days 🙂
Hugs …

I can’t wait to see you tour Lani!
I’ve been working like a mad-women trying to get everything done! I know you know the feeling 🙂
