I’ve teamed up with five amazing bloggers for some summer guest post fun! Every Tuesday for the next five weeks you’ll get to meet up close and personal an awesome blogger. Today I’m guest posting over at Jane’s Adventures in Dinner.
So without further adieu, help me give a big, warm Simply Fresh Vintage welcome to
Heather from Setting for Four!

Hello Simply Fresh Vintage readers!
I am so excited to be here with Lani today!
Lani has been so kind as to let me share a bit about myself, why I started blogging and a bit about my blog with you today!
My name is Heather and I blog at Setting for Four:
I’m an interior decor student and Military wife with a passion for family friendly design that won’t break the bank or sacrifice style! I am a mom of two teenagers and married to my best friend, an Infantryman, whom I am so proud of! I love to create things by hand, cook healthy meals and most of all create a comfy and cozy space for our family of four.
I started blogging on December 31’st 2010…Yes! The last day of 2010….on the last day of a not-so-great year, for me personally. Grab a cup of coffee, get comfortable and read this post for Hometalk “In the Bloglight” to learn the real nitty gritty of how and why I started blogging…Whew! What a journey it’s been!
At Setting for Four I blog about home decor, DIY’s, crafts and recipes along with the busyness of military life and life with two teen boys!
I love to decorate my home….come take a peek of my Home Tour!
This past July we moved from Virginia to Ottawa, Canada and while we get settled into our new home I’ve started a new fun adventure too….
I’m currently an interior decor student and am having so much fun learning all about residential interior decorating! It’s been my passion for a very long time and I’ve finally taken the steps to learn more about the field of decor and design!
I love to blog about decor, design and creating Design Boards and just recently curated a bedroom decor collection for Crane & Canopy!
One of my most favorite projects to date has been my Turn Kids Art Into Tea Towels:
…and my DIY Beaded Sunburst Mirror: (can you believe I made this using Scrapbook Paper and a Ceiling Medallion?)
Come and check out my DIY Project Gallery and my Recipes Page to see what else I’ve been up to!
You can also find me hanging out at my weekly linky party:
Project Inspire{d} Linky Party every Monday night at 8 pm EST.
1 link on 5 blogs for 5 times the fun and exposure! I pin features all week!
I’d love it if you swung by Setting for Four and said hello! If you’d like, you can follow along with me here:
